This very handsome young man is Alfie.
Alfie is a lovely dog who greeted our assessor in the home very calmly with a sniff, a lick of the hand and accepted being fussed.
Alfie is walked with a headcollar but didn't pull at all until they encountered a couple of dogs ahead. Alfie barked and pulled towards them but was easily corrected and continued to walk. He was also easily distracted with treats and gaining his attention. With careful introductions ad a firm owner Alfie will probably be fine with other dogs.
His recall is good unless distracted by another dog and he knows his basic commands.
Alfie appeared quite playful in the home, he did mouth quite gently but stopped as soon as play was disengaged. Alfie is looking for a home where someone will have the time to devote to him.
