Ace

18th March 2022 just as our SW and Wales volunteer was about to start tea, she took a call from a vets in Powys who had been asked to PTS a 7yr old male GSD

The vet was extremely upset and said she didn’t want to kill him and could we please help

His crime and reason you might ask ?

He had been taken out by the teenager in the family with a group of friends and had allegedly bitten, there was no puncture wound just scratches and the story changed while at the vets

The vet said the dog was wagging his tail and just seemed too friendly to have done anything serious and she suspected the teenagers had teased him

At the moment the vets are holding him until we can find a place for him to go

His name is Ace he’s 7 and not neutered

He used to live with a female Lab so could do again but is unsure of males

We would recommend no small furries

No children under 10

We are looking for a foster with view to adopt for him where he can be assessed and have the possibility of a forever home

You will need to have been home checked and have experience with the breed

This poor boy has had a very lucky escape!!
