Abbie was born in the USA and lived there for the first 4 years of her life. She moved back to England with her owner who is now struggling to cope with her needs and making a career for herself. She feels that Abbie deserves more time spent with her and a nice garden to play in.
Abbie is a sweet natured girl in the home. Very laid back, used to being left for periods of time and does not chew. Outside of the home with no one around again she is good. She walks nicely on a lead and off lead will always check in with her owner. She does have a high prey drive and will stalk pigeons when out . On lead she is reactive to other dogs but off lead if she likes a dog she will play with it. Time and training will be needed as it will not be a guarentee that Abbie will like every dog that she meets, having said that she does have doggie friends.
Abbie would like someone who is around more than her owner is, She would love to have her own garden and lots of balls to play with especially footballs. Abbie is not that food orientated but I am sure that for the right treat she will be as good as gold.
We all have our own characters and we are all flawed in some way just like our Abbie and her reactivity but that doesn't mean that she should be overlooked... please give her a chance being on her own for so long everyday is not good for her, she is probably bored and frustrated .
